April 18, 2010 - Mobile WiMAX Airlink Tests Successful at 10MHz
Mobile Metrics is pleased to announce today that it has that it has successfully sent and received
OFDMA frames at 2.5GHz under 10MHz channelization.
March 1, 2010 - Torrent 5100 V 4.6 Released
To allow testing of Diameter billing servers the Torrent 5100 has been augmented to support
testing the Diameter protocol. Although the new Diameter implementation in the Torrent 5100 is
highly flexible and configurable, the initial release focuses only on Diameter Credit Control.

December 21, 2009 - Torrent 5100 V 4.5 Released
To allow acceptence testing of Push-to-Talk services at one of the worlds largest
operators providing service to over 100M subscribers, the Torrent 5100 was enhanced to
support a proprietary version of PoC with enhanced VoIP specific KPIs.
September 30, 2009 - Torrent 5100 V 4.0 Released
To allow testing of charging gateways, Mobile Metrics has augmented the Torrent 5100,
with new functionality which allows comprehensive functional and load testing of CGFs.
Generation of both G-CDRs as well as S-CDRs is specifically supported as are other CDR
types, and CDR fields are highly configurable through an innovative new message
configurability framework introduced in this release.
June 8, 2009 - Mobile WiMAX MS and BS Baseband Developed
Having identified limitations in preformance and flexibility with 3rd party baseband implementations,
Mobile Metrics announced today that it had completed development of a new Mobile WiMAX /
802.16e OFDMA-PHY implementation for both base stations and mobile stations for use on
both the Torrent 7240 and AirScan 750, and that these implementations had been successfully
tested with both control procedures such as network entry as well as various data plane
procedures.
May 7, 2009 - Torrent 5100 GGSN Test System Version 3.0 Released
Our flagship product, the Torrent 5100 was released in 2005, and in our latest 3.0 release,
a number of new features have been added in from the Torrent 7000 series, most notably
graphical tracing with full protocol support for GTP R99 and R97.
August 24, 2008 - WiMAX Forum Selects AirScan 750 as Official WiMAX Protocol Monitor
Mobile Metrics is honored to announce that the AirScan 750 has been selected by the
WiMAX Forum to play an important role in the certification process. Commenting on the
selection, Ed Agais, Chairman, Certification Working Group, WiMAX Forum said
"The AirScan 750 is a welcome addition to the WiMAX Forum's infrastructure interoperability test bed.
Mobile Metrics has demonstrated leadership in helping with the test bed and
other interoperability tasks. The AirScan 750 will play a key role in

August 15, 2008 - Torrent 7100 Version 4.0 Released
Mobile Metrics announced the immediate availability of Version 4.0 of the Torrent 7100 which includes
graphical tracing, VLAN tagging, DSCP marking, enhanced service flow support (32DL+32UL), sniffer file import,
and more.
April 1, 2008 - Mobile Metrics exhibits at CTIA 2008
At this year's CTIA show in Las Vegas we demonstrated the the ground-breaking Torrent 7220 and
were honored to co-chaired the Sky Radio Wireless Insider Roundtable with Steve Glagow of
Orange / France Telecom, and to give multiple television interviews. Overall, the show was
quite a success for us, and we extend our sincere thanks to all of our visitors and the
folks in the media who made it turn out that way.

Mobile Metrics announced today that it has updated Wireshark with the capability
of tracing WiMAX traffic on the R6, R4 and R3 interfaces. This capability will be generally available in the next Wireshark
release (0.99.7), but is also available now in the development stream...
March 27, 2007 - Mobile Metrics is pleased to have participated in CTIA 2007
This year's CTIA trade show was held in Orlando Florida and featured keynote addresses by
President George Bush, Sr. and President Bill Clinton. We were very pleased to have

September 12, 2005 - Torrent 5100 GGSN Test System Version 1.1 Officially Released
Version 1.1 of the Torrent 5100 GGSN Test System is now availabile
with numerous exclusive and industry leading features including full test case and test suite automation
and automatic upgrade support. The new release features a full TCP/IP stack built into each
mobile with support for HTTP, SMTP, POP3, FTP, MMS, WAP (1.2/2.0), DNS, Ping, and UDP
echo built in, as well as support for IP fragmentation, detailed hierarchical statistics, and
numerous other features.

In recent tests on the A1000 hardware platform (pictured below), the MTS-5100 Mobile Traffic Simulator
performed at over 40,000 activations per second with bearer at well over 500Mbps.
